ATTENTION PLANO HIGH SCHOOL FAMILIES
The University of Chicago has once again opened up the 5Essential Survey and I am asking you to please take 20 minutes to complete this survey. By taking this survey it will allow you to provide anonymous feedback to Plano High School. I will use this information in a variety of ways to improve our academics, climate, culture, social/emotional needs and communication.
A parent survey report will be generated if at least 20 percent of parents respond to the survey. In breaking it down, I need 138 of our parents/guardians to complete the survey in order to reach the 20 percent goal.
While the parent data will not be made public, the parent report will be made available to the school and district administrators and will enable them to make considerations based on the responses given by Plano High School parents/guardians. Your participation in the parent survey will help us understand our school even better and help guide our continuous effort to improve.
Please visit http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/ to take the parent survey.
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact the Plano High School office.
Thank you in advance for taking the time out of your day to complete this survey.
Regards,
Jim Seput, Principal

US GOVERNMENT TEXT BOOK DROP OFF (semester 1 students)
{see your email}
Next week, between Tuesday, January 26th and Friday, January 29th, we will have textbook drop off for 1st semester US Government and Politics students. Students who are coming in person can simply go to the Innovation Center during the day and give the book to Jessica Dellorto or Christine Bolin. Remote students need to find the time to return their books to the school in the afternoon. Drop-off will occur between 12:30pm and 3:00pm at the entrance in back of the school by the Auditorium. From 3:00pm-4:00pm, books can be dropped off in the Main Office.
It is critical to get these books back, as they will be sanitized and distributed to 2nd semester US Government and Politics students. If the book is not returned by the end of the day on Friday, January 29th, a fee for the cost of replacing the book will be applied to your account in PowerSchool until the book is returned.
Please contact me if you have any questions about this message.
