Members from the First Lutheran Church of Plano recently donated bins of gear to help Plano students stay warm during the cold months ahead. Donated were mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and socks in various colors and sizes. The Caring Committee at First Lutheran organized the drive and the items will be distributed to all five schools in the district and provided to students in need. Parents and older students are welcome to reach out to the school social workers if they need some winter gear. Plano School officials are very appreciative of this generous donation and are happy to partner with First Lutheran Church to help keep students warm and safe during winter weather.
