Family members, Board members, Superintendent Tony Baker and other administrators recently gathered to dedicate the new outdoor space at P.H. Miller School in Plano in memory of Molly McKirgan. Molly was a well-loved P.H. Miller student who sadly passed away in 1994. During recent school construction, her memorial rock was relocated from an interior atrium to this beautiful outdoor space that features comfortable benches, lovely flowers and plants, bird feeders, bench rocks, sensory stations and much more.
Students, staff members and the community are invited to experience the new outdoor space located on the southeast corner of P.H. Miller School located at 904 N. Lew Street in Plano.
Board members and Superintendent Baker listen to stories shared about Molly and prepare to present a memorial plaque to her family.
Molly’s parents, Randy and Karylin McKirgan, her sisters and their families were present to honor her memory and appreciate the beautiful, new outdoor space that so many will be able to enjoy.
Randy and Karylin McKirgan received a duplicate of the plaque that is placed on Molly’s memorial rock.
