KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES:
Kindergarten Orientation will take place at P.H. Miller Elementary School on Thursday, August 12 from 5:00-6:30! See times below:
5:00-5:45 p.m. - Students with Last Names A-L
5:45-6:30 p.m. - Students with Last Names M-Z
Please park in the large lot off of Lew Street and enter Door 8 (Cafeteria Entrance). Bring your child's school supplies, gym shoes, extra change of clothing to leave at school and other items that you'd like to send in for the classroom and/or your child. Meet the teacher, pick up backpack tags & wristbands, learn about our program, get on a parked school bus, and more.
Make this a special day for you and your kindergarten child. Make arrangements now for child care of siblings (nursing babies are welcome to attend) and/or request off work NOW so you can attend with your child. Illinois Labor Laws allow you to attend school sponsored events during the work day and we will be happy to provide a note for you to verify your attendance at this event. Haga de este un día especial para usted y su hijo de jardín de infantes. Haga arreglos ahora para el cuidado infantil de los hermanos y / o solicite un permiso AHORA para que pueda asistir con su hijo.
