Plano CUSD #88

Plano High School art teachers Kristin Miller and Andrea Dahlberg thanked the District and the Board of Education, at a recent School Board meeting, for their investment in the arts.  They talked about the importance of the arts and the correlation to academic achievement and future success.  They commended the art students for their courage, discipline and hard work. Student presenter, Marysabella Llamas, shared her experiences with various art shows they have participated in. Seniors have been awarded over $1 million dollars in scholarships as a result of the art shows
