Take me out to the ball game.  Plano High School students recently attended a Kane County Cougars game.  The 85 students were participants in the Ozzie Reading Program held from January to March at the high school.  Students were required to read for eight weeks and turn in bi-weekly reports to their Learning Lab teachers.

The Reaper Wrestling team took 3rd place in state this past weekend beating Sherrard for the trophy. This was the first time EVER the reapers have placed in state after its only 2 seasons winning Regional Titles.

In conjunction with Family Reading Night, students were asked, "Who is your hero and why?" Their responses were video taped and shown during the final session of the event which was held in the Emily G. Johns gymnasium on Thursday, November 21.

With the recent tornadoes in Central Illinois, the Plano Middle School staff sponsored a faculty fundraiser for the American Red Cross, Central Illinois Tornado Relief Chapter.
Rylie proudly represented Plano High School at the IHSA State Golf Tournament held at Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur, Illinois on October 18 & 19, 2013.
