On Saturday, November 15, the PHS Pep Band performed at the class 3A and 4A IHSA state girl's volleyball state championship. Our band was one of many that auditioned for this honor last year. Our students performed for 6 1/2 hours straight, and entertained thousands of people.

The Reaper Wrestling team took 3rd place in state this past weekend beating Sherrard for the trophy. This was the first time EVER the reapers have placed in state after its only 2 seasons winning Regional Titles.
In conjunction with Family Reading Night, students were asked, "Who is your hero and why?" Their responses were video taped and shown during the final session of the event which was held in the Emily G. Johns gymnasium on Thursday, November 21.
